What is your conversion story?

When I was 3 yrs old in 1971, the missionaries were trackting around our neighborhood. One of the missionaries told the other it was time to go home. Elder Walser said “I have the feeling we should go to this one last house.” The house was mine. We were baptists at the time. My father was looking for a religion which taught he had a Heavenly Father as well as a Savior. He accepted right away.

What is your favorite place you have traveled to?

Costa Rica

If you could have one day to yourself, what would you do?

I would go shopping, then find a good book and take it sailing with me.

Have you ever broken a bone, how?

When I was a junior in college at BYU, I broke both my legs and tore the ligaments in my knee, skiing. I had to have surgery and was in two casts for 14 weeks.

What are you really afraid of?

Public speaking and snakes
